December is a time of transition, when we close out one year and get ready for the next. There’s a rush to finish academic projects and then enjoy time with family. If you are able to create some mathematical time for yourself, we offer a new set of December Practice Problems! Please enjoy these, and perhaps share them with family members.

We received several solutions to the November problems from student Bohdin Bright, nicely typeset in LaTeX. Thank you! You’ll find them included in our November solutions. And we would love to receive student solutions to our December problems.

There is no time limit, and there are no restrictions on how you solve these (so don’t worry about simulating contest conditions). Just practice on these problems, alone, or with friends! We would love to see your original solutions; please reply to this email address with your work. If you prepare your solution in LaTeX, the math typesetting language, we might include it in our official solutions packet, which we’ll send out the following month.
